The Northshore men's ministry is called G2.  G2 in the United States military is the intelligence branch of a combat unit at the division level.  The unit is tasked with providing the necessary information, or intelligence, to the combat units it is responsible for.  This intelligence is used by the combat units to make decisions on how to execute their mission. 

The use of God's Word in the walk of a Christian man presents a similar situation.  The Northshore G2 is tasked with providing men the tools and information (intelligence), based on God's Word, to live the life God intends them to live.  We as men are instructed by Holy Scripture to support each other, to hold each other up through close relationships and to serve our community as Christ would.
