Jim Smoak

 Men's Ministry Director  

 Jim has been in the Pacific Northwest since late 2004.  He leads

 the program management team for Rosetta Solutions, which is

 a technology company that provides services to the publishing

 industry. He and his wife Gay have been married since 1984 and

 have two teenage sons, Michael and Brian.  He is involved in

 the Northshore praise and worship technical team, leads the Cedar

 Park Martial Arts ministry, as well as the Northshore men's ministry. 

Jim started leading the men's ministry in the fall of 2007.  He has a heart for seeing men come together in fellowship, and to equip each other to fulfull the mission God has for them. 

The Northshore men's ministry is called G2.  G2 in the United States military is the intelligence branch of a combat unit at the division level.  The unit is tasked with providing the necessary information, or intelligence, to the combat units it is responsible for.  This intelligence is used by the combat units to make decisions on how to execute their mission.  The use of God's Word in the walk of a Christian man presents a similar situation.  The Northshore G2 is tasked with providing men the tools and information (intelligence), based on God's Word, to live the life God intends them to live.
